Key Purpose:The Senior IT Business Partner is integral to the Country Management Team, aligning IT services with country business needs and group IT strategy. This role spearheads digital transformation, manages IT performance, oversees IT General Controls (ITGC), and supervises in-country IT personnel. Key responsibilities include managing IT demand, developing business cases, overseeing budgeting, and collaborating with central IT and compliance teams.Key Outputs and Accountabilities Include:Effective IT-Business Collaboration: Establish and maintain a productive working relationship with the business area, ensuring that IT services align with and support business objectives.Seamless IT Service Delivery : Efficiently manage and resolve business function/area IT issues, achieve high user satisfaction scores ensuring minimal disruption to business operationsService Quality and User Satisfaction : Maintain high levels of satisfaction among end-users within the business function/area through responsive and efficient IT service deliveryIT Security and Compliance : Drive and ensure IT governance and security within business function/area to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements and audit standardsEnhanced Process Efficiency : Identify opportunities for process improvements within the business function/area and implement technology solutions that drive efficiencySkills:Ability to analyse and resolve issues within the assigned business function/area, balancing both tactical and operational requirements.Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and manage expectations within the business function/area.Familiarity with IT service management practices, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.Basic project management skills to support IT projects and process improvements within the business function / area.Understanding of IT compliance, data privacy, and security standards to support business function/area adherence to policies.Qualifications:A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or a related field.A post graduate qualification will be advantageous.Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Agile) will be advantageous.Experience:12+ years in IT, with 2+ years in a business-facing IT role.Experience in IT operations, service management, or project coordination within a complex organizational structure.
