Job DescriptionPlanning:Plan the overall data-related activities and budget of the project. Establish rules and implement strategies for effective data management (data storage, archival, retrieval systems and data sharing procedures). Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data. Implementation:Automate data collection tool of Cost-Benefit-Analysis (CBA) of Internal Reviews (IR sessions), clean & analyse the data. Coach field staffs for data entry on LogAlto, monitor data accuracy & review/verify the data on the LogAlto platform. Financial & Administrative Management:Communicate with the Project Assistant on the financial, administrative & procurement issues that are applicable—when required. Provide support for the annual data management related budgets. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting:Analyse the development and use of data systems, and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades etc.)Extract data from the LogAlto system, generate insights through data analysis, present the data via different visualisation techniques and assist in preparing comprehensive project reports for project partners. Networking, Learning & Representation:Communicate mainly with all MEAL Advisors (both at national & regional levels). Work with IT teams to address any possible technical/troubleshoot data-related issues of the project, implement database recovery updates, safety protocols, and authorize maintenance or modifications, as needed. Perform any other related duties assigned by the project Manager & the MEAL Advisor. QualificationsMinimum of bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred). Experience:six years of experience in one of the following topics: M&E database management and analysis, Agricultural Economics, Knowledge management.
