About the jobAs the Head of DevOps at Kifiya, you will be responsible for leading and managing our DevOps team. You will play a critical role in driving our technology strategy, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing DevOps team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure, including cloud platforms, servers, and networks.DevOps Practices: Champion DevOps principles and practices, such as CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code.Cloud Architecture: Design and implement robust cloud architectures on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of our infrastructure and applications, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.Monitoring and Alerting: Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure smooth collaboration and efficient delivery.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing infrastructure management and DevOps practices, preferably in a financial technology industry.Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and containerization technologies.Deep understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and related tools, such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar.
