Senior Full-Time Product Owner

About the jobShega is seeking an experienced and strategic full-time Product Owner to join our product development team. As a Senior Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.Responsibilities:Communicating the product strategy and roadmap to stakeholders and the development team.Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it is up-to-date, refined, and ready for development.Write clear, concise, and actionable product requirements documents (PRDs) and user storiesPrioritize features and user stories based on customer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.Work with designers to create user-centered design solutions that meet customer needs and business objectivesDevelop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful product deliveryActing as the primary liaison between stakeholders (such as customers, business leaders, and other teams) and the development team.Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and deliver high-quality products and features on time and within budgetWrite clear, concise, and actionable product requirements documents (PRDs) and user storiesWork with designers to create user-centered design solutions that meet customer needs and business objectivesDevelop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful product deliveryEnsure that the development team has a clear understanding of the product backlog and priorities.Communicate product plans, progress, and changes to stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, and executives.Gathering and incorporating feedback from stakeholders to ensure the product meets their needs and expectations.Requirements:3+ years of experience in product ownership or product management, with a track record of delivering successful products and featuresBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree preferredStrong technical skills, including proficiency in Agile development methodologies and product development tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Asana, or TrelloExcellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisionsExperience with customer-facing products and services, with a customer-centric approach to product developmentStrong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and guide junior product ownersGathering feedback from users and the development team to make iterative improvements.
