Job Description

About the jobKey Responsibilities:Strategic Sourcing:Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of construction materials, equipment, and services.Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on factors such as quality, price, reliability, and service capabilities.Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers to leverage purchasing power and secure favorable terms and pricing.Vendor Management:Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to establish pricing, delivery terms, and service level agreements.Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to assess adherence to contractual obligations and quality standards.Resolve disputes and address issues with suppliers in a timely and effective manner to ensure continuity of supply.Cost Control and Budget ManagementDevelop and manage procurement budgets to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions and adherence to project budgets.Conduct cost analysis and price comparisons to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement spend.Implement cost-control measures to minimize procurement-related expenses while maintaining quality and project requirements.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations, including ethical sourcing practices, and legal obligations.Conduct due diligence on suppliers to assess risks related to financial stability, reputation, and compliance.Implement risk mitigation strategies to address supply chain vulnerabilities and minimize exposure to risks such as disruptions, fraud, and corruption.Process Improvement and Automation:Streamline procurement processes to reduce cycle times, improve efficiency, and enhance user experience.Implement procurement software and technology solutions to automate manual tasks, improve data visibility, and enhance decision-making.Continuously evaluate and optimize procurement workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
