We are seeking a skilled HR specialist to join our HR team and contribute to our growth and success. As a HR Specialist you will play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce and ensuring that we attract and retain top talent to support our organisation's growth and success.Responsibilities:1. Recruitment and Staffing: - Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top-tier candidates for the organisation's staffing needs. - Source candidates through various channels and conduct interviews to assess qualifications and fit. - Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and ensure timely fulfilment of positions2. Onboarding and Orientation: - Lead the onboarding process for new employees, including coordinating orientation sessions and preparing necessary documentation. - Ensure a smooth transition for new hires into their roles and the organisation.3. Employee Relations:- Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, providing guidance and support as needed. - Foster positive employee relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and the promotion of a positive work culture.4. Performance Management: - Assist in the implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions. - Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and development opportunities for their team members.5. Training and Development: - Identify training needs within the organization and coordinate relevant training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. - Support the development and implementation of career development plans for employees.6. HR Policy Compliance: - Ensure compliance with HR laws, regulations, and best practices by staying updated on relevant legislation and implementing HR policies accordingly. - Conduct audits and reviews to ensure adherence to HR policies and proceduresQualifications:1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications or a Master's degree may be advantageous.2. Experience: 4+ years of experience in human resources management, talent acquisition, and employee relations. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and startup environment , is beneficial.3. Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization. Organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are also important.4. Adaptability: Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in responding to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.5. HR Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of Ethiopian Labour laws, regulations, and best practices.
