Far more than a standard store builder or retail shop, RatazStore is a multi-sided digital commerce ecosystem that connects physical merchants, digital creators, vendor micro-websites, dropshipper/promoter networks, and cross-border trade into one unified platform. We focus on delivering accessible e-commerce infrastructure to local businesses while building strong relationships across key commercial hubs in Addis Ababa. Role Descriptions This is a full-time, on-site/field operational recruitment drive comprising two distinct growth roles: 1. Field Merchant Acquisition Agents (5–6 Positions) Core Focus: Direct field onboarding of shop owners, importers, and boutique managers across major commercial hubs (Merkato, Bole, 22, Kazanchis, Piassa). Responsibilities: Visit merchants, present RatazStore’s ecosystem capabilities, and guide shop owners in setting up their branded micro-websites. Assist vendors with product photography and uploading their initial 10+ listings. Train store owners on managing order notifications, payment proofs, and buyer communication. Bonus Skill / Opportunity: Agents with natural camera charisma will host live video product showcases featuring inventory from onboarded shops. 2. Social Media Creator & Help Desk Host (1 Position - In-Office) Core Focus: Serving as the visual voice of RatazStore across social media while managing vendor and buyer support from our 22/Bole hub. Responsibilities: Produce daily short-form video content (TikTok, Telegram, Instagram Reels, Ezop Hills feed) highlighting featured products and vendor stories. Manage office Help Desk channels—answering incoming vendor/buyer calls and Telegram inquiries, logging issues, and verifying payment proofs. Coordinate between field sales and operations to ensure smooth order fulfillment and merchant satisfaction. Qualifications & Requirements Sales & Interpersonal Drive: Proven customer-facing experience in field sales, promotion, retail, or client support, with natural persuasion and relationship-building skills. Tech & Digital Literacy: Comfort using smartphones, messaging applications (Telegram), and mobile cameras for merchant registration, catalog uploading, and daily reporting. Social Media & Camera Presence: Familiarity with social media platforms (TikTok, Telegram, Reels) with a natural interest or proven capability in creating engaging video posts or hosting on-camera product showcases. Communication & Execution: Clear, professional spoken and written communication in Amharic (English fluency is an added advantage). Strong listening, organizational, and follow-up skills. Mindset & Integrity: High energy, integrity, reliability, and an eagerness to learn RatazStore's multi-sided business model and ecosystem features. Growth & Compensation Structure Field Sales Agents: Base Monthly Allowance: 5,000 ETB/month Merchant Setup Bonus: 75 ETB per verified vendor storefront with 10+ active listings. Tracked Revenue Share: % share of RatazStore’s platform fee collected from your onboarded merchants' sales for 1–3 months. Expected Monthly Earnings: 10,000 – 20,000+ ETB/month based on performance.
