Operating from our recently relocated and expanded facility near Gurd Shola, we are dedicated to blending advanced medical science with elite, patient-centered hospitality.Position Overview:We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and dedicated NICU Nurse (Junior / Entry-Level) to join our specialized neonatal care unit. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to newborns requiring close monitoring, support experienced neonatal care teams, ensure patient safety and infection control, and deliver compassionate communication and support to families during critical moments.Key Responsibilities: Daily Clinical Operations: Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), including monitoring vital signs, administering prescribed medications, assisting with feeding support, and maintaining accurate medical records.Team Collaboration & Support: Work closely with senior NICU nurses, pediatricians, neonatologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to execute individualized care plans for neonates.Patient & Family Relations: Support parents and families by providing clear, empathetic communication regarding their baby’s basic care, routine updates, and emotional guidance during their stay.Regulatory Compliance & Safety: Maintain rigorous alignment with the Ministry of Health (MOH) clinical guidelines, strict infection prevention and control (IPC) protocols, environmental safety regulations, and internal health center standards.Unit & Equipment Care: Ensure proper handling, basic functional checks, and strict sanitation of specialized NICU equipment (e.g., incubators, phototherapy units, monitors, and suction apparatus) in coordination with facility maintenance and store teams.Reporting & Documentation: Accurately record patient progress, clinical observations, and vital signs in physical and digital medical record systems, reporting any immediate shifts in patient condition to supervising senior staff.About YouQualifications & Experience:Education: Bachelor’s Degree in NICU Nursing from a recognized institution. Valid professional license/registration from the relevant health regulatory body in Ethiopia is required. (Certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation or basic pediatric life support are highly valued).Experience: 0 years of experience (Entry-Level / Fresh Graduates welcomed). Prior clinical internship or clinical attachment experience in pediatric or neonatal wards is an advantage.Skills:Strong compassionate caregiving, observational, and critical-thinking abilities under pressure.Fluency in English and Amharic (both written and spoken) with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Basic proficiency in digital systems, Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, and MS Office.Solid foundational knowledge of neonatal nursing practices, infection prevention, and MOH healthcare safety standards.
