Role Description The Cashier role at skills.et is a full-time, on-site position based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Cashier will handle customer transactions, including receiving payments, issuing receipts, and processing cash, card, and digital payments accurately. Responsibilities include operating the point-of-sale system, balancing the cash drawer at the end of shifts, and maintaining clear records of all transactions. The role also involves assisting customers with payment-related questions, providing courteous service, and coordinating with team members to resolve any billing or pricing issues. The Cashier will follow company policies for cash handling, support basic administrative tasks related to sales, and help ensure a safe and organized front-of-house environment. Qualifications Strong cash handling, basic accounting, and numerical accuracy skills. Required QualificationsDiploma in Accounting with at least 1-year experience ar communication and professional demeanor. Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow standard operating procedures. Ability to work on-site full-time in Addis Ababa and collaborate with a diverse team. Basic computer literacy for recording transactions and preparing simple reports
