As part of our engagement with the Mastercard Foundation Associates Program, we're growing our creative team and looking for a Video Editor who can help us tell our story, and our clients' stories, in a way that actually gets noticed. About the Role We're looking for a Video Editor who can turn raw footage into content that stops people mid-scroll, and do it fast. You'll be editing short-form and long-form video for our social channels and client work, so you need to move quickly without cutting corners on quality, and you need to actually understand what's working on social media right now, not what worked six months ago. What You'll Be Doing Editing video content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, from raw footage to polished, publish-ready final cuts Turning around edits on a fast timeline, sometimes same-day, without sacrificing quality Staying on top of current video trends, formats, transitions, pacing, sound design, and applying them to our content rather than working off dated templates Collaborating with our content and marketing team to bring ideas to life, from concept to final export Organizing and managing footage libraries and project files so nothing gets lost between projects Adding captions, subtitles, and basic graphics/text overlays where needed Color correction and basic audio cleanup to keep every video looking and sounding professional What We're Looking For Real, hands-on experience editing video, a portfolio or reel is required, we want to see your actual work, not just hear about it Strong command of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) A genuine, current understanding of social media trends and formats, you should be able to tell us what's trending right now, not just follow a brief Speed without sloppiness, you can turn around quality edits under real deadlines An eye for pacing, timing, and what actually keeps someone watching past the first three seconds Strong organizational habits, managing multiple projects and footage sources without losing track Nice to Have Experience shooting video, not just editing it, being comfortable behind the camera as well as in the edit is a real plus Experience with motion graphics or basic animation Familiarity with editing for multiple platforms and formats (vertical, square, widescreen) from the same source footage What We Offer A real seat on a growing creative team, with your work actually seen and used, not sitting in a folder The opportunity to build a portfolio through real client and brand work, not just internal projects A collaborative, fast-moving environment where good ideas get made, not just discussed Growth opportunities as ZemenayTech's content and client work continues to scale
