🌸 We're hiring a Florist — Addis Ababa Newflower helps people show up for the people they love, especially when they can't be there in person. Someone in Los Angeles trusts us with their mother's birthday. A bride in Bole trusts us with her wedding flowers. You're the one who makes that trust real. We're a curated marketplace for flowers, artisan gifts, and thoughtful products — connecting Addis Ababa's best florists and makers with customers near and far. We need a Florist to join our team. Full-time, on-site in Addis Ababa. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Design arrangements for everyday orders, events, and our curated gift offerings • Select and care for flowers and plants — handling, storage, keeping things fresh • Advise customers on what to send, especially when they aren't sure • Prepare and package orders to a high standard, on time • Work with our team on product photography and online listings • Bring creative concepts to seasonal campaigns and special collections WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • Strong floral design across styles — daily gifting and events • Real creativity: unique concepts, color palettes, and design themes that fit our brand • Customer service experience — active listening, clear communication, warmth with all kinds of people • Styling skills for displays, gift sets, and photo setups • Knowledge of flower and plant care • Ability to manage multiple orders and stay detailed under time pressure • Basic inventory and organizational skills Prior florist experience or floral design training preferred.
