Position Employment type: Contract Posted date: 2026-09-18 Deadline date: 2026-09-25 Recruiter: Promoting Economic Transition to Circular Options(PETCO Ethiopia) Job Location: Jimma Category: Program Management Current Salary Career Level: Senior Level Job Responsibility Lead cluster staff, activities, resources, and partnerships to deliver the EYWM project effectively, on time, and for results. Oversee MSME identification, establishment, growth, sustainability, and market integration, prioritizing women, youth, and disadvantaged groups. Coordinate mentoring, coaching, technical assistance, and business development support for MSMEs with staff, partners, providers, and institutions. Align cluster interventions with project objectives, targets, indicators, plans, and donor requirements, addressing gaps and risks proactively. Lead cluster planning and periodic reviews of work plans, schedules, budgets, monitoring frameworks, and implementation strategies. Strengthen coordination with government, YAGs, businesses, development partners, civil society, communities, and other stakeholders to support delivery and ownership. Implement safeguarding, protection, inclusion, and accountability measures in line with organizational and donor standards. Coordinate workshops, trainings, consultations, learning events, reviews, and other activities with the Project Management Team and staff. Support monitoring, evaluation, learning, and adaptive management through data collection, verification, analysis, documentation, and evidence use. Track indicators and targets, identify bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions to achieve results on time. Coordinate timely, quality-assured partner, project, donor, and government reports. Maintain accurate, current project files, databases, records, and evidence in line with organizational and data-protection requirements. Support partners’ compliance with implementation, reporting, data, safeguarding, financial, procurement, and accountability requirements. Coordinate logistics and administration for meetings, events, travel, venues, resources, and partner communications. Support budgeting, expenditure tracking, financial documentation, partner reporting, and compliance with approved procedures. Coordinate project communications and visibility through newsletters, stories, social media, website updates, case studies, and related materials. Document and share good practices, lessons, innovations, success stories, and scalable approaches across teams and stakeholders. Participate in reviews, assessments, evaluations, and learning, translating findings into implementation improvements. Ensure information flow among cluster teams, partners, project management, and senior management, escalating and resolving issues promptly. Represent the project at cluster meetings and forums, communicating priorities, progress, achievements, and emerging issues. Identify MSME and youth-employment opportunities, risks, and challenges, and develop practical responses with relevant stakeholders. Advance EYWM results, sustainability, and impact through quality delivery, coordination, engagement, accountability, and learning. Perform other duties assigned by the Program Director to support project delivery and success. Educational Requirement Bachelor's degree or MSc in development studies, economics, business administration, Enterprise development, project management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in program, project development, coordination, and coordinating multiple partners and stakeholders. Experience Requirement Previous experience in project coordination or administration, preferably in the development sector. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Fluency in English and Amharic or other local languages is desirable. Willingness to travel within Ethiopia as required for project activities. Demonstrated strength and experience in writing technical reports. Excellent written and oral communication skills; fluency in English language is essential. Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment. Strong computer skills Demonstrated project management experience, including budget development, event planning, coordinating multiple partners and stakeholders.
