Job Summary The Senior District Banking Operation Officer will oversee and support the operational activities of multiple branches within a district, ensuring compliance with regulatory and Sharia-compliant banking standards. The role focuses on optimizing branch performance, enhancing customer service, and fostering operational excellence in alignment with ZamZam Bank’s mission and Islamic finance principles. Banking Key Responsibilities Monitor and evaluate branch performance against established KPIs and operational targets. Support and guide branch managers in achieving operational efficiency and service quality. Ensure branches comply with internal policies, Sharia guidelines, and NBE regulations. Facilitate communication and coordination between branches and Head Office units. Provide assistance in resolving operational, technical, and customer-related issues. Coordinate the implementation of updated procedures, directives, and initiatives. Compile and analyze operational reports to identify trends and recommend improvements. Deliver feedback and coaching to branches for continuous improvement. Support training and mentoring efforts for branch staff to build operational capacity. Escalate unresolved operational matters to the district manager and follow through to resolution. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or related field. Minimum of 4 years in banking or branch operations, with at least 2 years in an officer capacity. Required Skills And Competencies Knowledge of branch processes, procedures, and operational policies. Understanding of NBE directives and Islamic banking operational standards. Ability to track, evaluate, and report on operational KPIs. Clear, professional, and timely communication with stakeholders. Identifying issues and developing effective solutions. Fosters cooperation and knowledge sharing between branches. Supports and leads performance improvement across multiple branches.
