NGBSS Test Engineer

Experience Level: Mid-level (3–5 years) in software testing. Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree or above in Software Engineering or a related field. Key Requirements: Strong understanding of software engineering principles, the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and testing processes. Experience in test planning, test-case design, defect tracking, and test reporting. Knowledge of equivalence partitioning, boundary-value analysis, scenario-based testing, and error guessing. Experience with Jira, Bugzilla, Mantis, or similar defect-tracking tools. Proficiency in Linux/Unix commands, log analysis, and SQL queries across databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server. Familiarity with TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, packet-capture tools, Postman, and JMeter. Programming experience in Python or Java, with knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, Pytest, TestNG, JMeter, or LoadRunner. NGBSS or payment-related project experience is preferred.
