Position: Food Project Coordination Assistant Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Experience: 0–3 years Fresh Graduates: Welcome Application Deadline: October 12, 2026 Position Overview The Food Project Coordination Assistant will support the Project Coordinator in planning, implementing, and monitoring food-related projects. The role involves coordinating project activities, supporting food procurement and distribution, maintaining project records, preparing reports, and assisting with data collection and monitoring activities. Key Responsibilities Assist the Project Coordinator in planning, implementing, and monitoring food-related projects. Coordinate daily project activities with project staff, partners, suppliers, and beneficiaries. Support food procurement, transportation, storage, and distribution activities. Maintain accurate records of food stocks, deliveries, distributions, and project materials. Prepare activity plans, schedules, meeting notes, and project reports. Collect and organize project data and support monitoring and evaluation activities. Follow up on project timelines, deliverables, and pending actions. Support beneficiary registration, verification, and distribution processes. Monitor food quality, quantity, and compliance with project standards. Qualifications and Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Food Science Food Technology Food Engineering Agro-Processing Agricultural Science Biotechnology Nutrition Chemistry A related field Experience 0–3 years of relevant work experience Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Technical and Professional Skills Good understanding of food ingredients, food processing, and basic food production. Excellent written and spoken English. Strong organizational skills. Good communication and follow-up skills. Strong reporting skills.
