Role Description The Content Developer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the time. This role focuses on developing marketing content that aligns with client brand strategies, including writing and structuring materials for campaigns, presentations, digital channels, and internal communications. Day-to-day tasks include researching topics, drafting and revising content, supporting the creation of communication materials, and collaborating with designers, video producers and strategists to ensure clarity and consistency. The Content Developer will also help adapt complex ideas into clear messages, maintain content libraries, and assist with basic project coordination related to content delivery. Qualifications Strong English and Amharic communication and writing skills for clear, concise, and audience-focused messaging. Content Development experience in creating and organizing materials for marketing and communication initiatives. Instructional Design and Technical Writing abilities to structure information logically and present complex topics in an accessible way. Attention to detail, including grammar, tone, and consistency across different content formats. Ability to collaborate in a hybrid work environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple projects and deadlines. Familiarity with marketing and branding concepts, and comfort working with creative and strategic teams. Proficiency with common productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., word processing, presentation software, online communication platforms). Relevant academic background in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
