Role Description
Branch Manager | የቅርንጫፍ ሥራ አስኪያጅ We are looking for a dynamic and people-oriented Branch Manager to lead our branch operations in Addis Ababa. This full-time, on-site role is responsible for the overall management and performance of the branch, ensuring efficient service delivery and exceptional member experiences. The Branch Manager will oversee daily operations, lead and develop branch staff, coordinate savings and loan services, and maintain the highest standards of accuracy, timeliness, and respect in member support. Key responsibilities include monitoring performance, preparing operational and financial reports, implementing policies in line with cooperative and regulatory requirements, and driving membership growth. This role also involves building strong relationships with members, promoting financial literacy, and identifying opportunities to enhance services. The successful candidate will foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture that reflects Family SACCO’s values of family, trust, and fairness.
Qualifications
Proven skills in operations management, staff supervision, and workflow coordination.
Strong expertise in customer service, member relationship building, and conflict resolution.
Solid understanding of financial analysis, basic accounting, and reporting for savings and loan products.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute branch-level business development and outreach activities.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Amharic, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse member groups.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field (preferred).
Prior experience in cooperatives, microfinance, or banking, especially in supervisory or leadership roles, is a strong advantage.
High level of integrity, professional ethics, and a genuine commitment to inclusive and non-discriminatory practices.
