Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic, people-focused, and results-driven Learning & Development Manager to spearhead holistic employee growth. Operating in a 100% remote environment, you will design, implement, and evaluate dynamic training and career progression programs. Your overarching goal is to close skill gaps, cultivate a culture of continuous remote learning, and empower our global workforce to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with C-level executives and department heads to identify organizational and individual skill gaps. Align L&D initiatives with overall business objectives.
Create highly engaging training curriculum—including e-learning modules, virtual workshops, and micro-learning content—tailored for a distributed workforce.
Lead and continually refine our remote onboarding program, ensuring new hires worldwide feel welcomed, equipped, and integrated into our company culture from day one.
Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS). Manage the digital learning infrastructure, ensuring all courses are accessible, intuitive, and properly tracked.
Forecast, track, and optimize the annual L&D budget. Negotiate contracts with external training vendors and digital content providers.
Analyze metrics, conduct skills audits, and measure ROI on all training initiatives. Gather learner feedback to continuously improve course offerings and career development paths.
Partner with managers and HR to develop leadership training and career-pathing frameworks that promote internal talent retention.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Education, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in L&D, with at least 2 years operating in a remote or distributed work environment.
Deep understanding of modern Learning Management Systems (e.g., Docebo, Canvas, Absorb) and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
Proven ability to manage, coach, and evaluate teams in virtual settings.
Strong working knowledge of adult learning theories, blended learning strategies, and instructional design principles.
Exceptional written, verbal, and virtual presentation skills. Ability to facilitate engaging training sessions via video conferencing.
