The Position
As a key member of the Engineering team, you'll leverage your broad engineering skillset to contribute to our core product, collaborating closely with Product, Design, and fellow Engineers to deliver an unparalleled user experience powered by cutting-edge AI.
What You'll Do
Architect, develop and maintain elegant, high-performance React/Next.js/TypeScript user interfaces
Design and implement robust, scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
Integrate frontend and backend systems through efficient RESTful APIs
Optimize application performance, security, accessibility, and responsiveness
Write clean, modular, well-tested code following modern engineering best practices
Contribute to technical architecture, design patterns, and development processes
Collaborate cross-functionally to rapidly prototype and deliver impactful product features
Proactively identify and tackle technical debt, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
Mentor and learn from fellow engineers in a collaborative, inclusive team environment
Our Ideal Candidate
5+ years experience shipping production-grade full-stack web applications
Mastery of React, TypeScript, Node.js, and modern web standards and best practices
Deep understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility, responsiveness, and design systems
Strong command of backend development, databases, caching, and performance optimization
Experience with unit testing, integration testing, E2E testing, and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with rich text editors (e.g. Lexical, Slate) and cross-platform frameworks (e.g. Tauri) a plus
Passionate about building polished, highly performant software and delightful user experiences through code
Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Genuine interest in AI/ML and desire to shape the future of work
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
