Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
Implementation of set internal financial controls, policies and procedures
Implementation of financial risk management & controls
Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately
OTIF payment of salaries, wages, transport, reimbursement of claims and statutory payments
Timely preparation and sharing of correct, complete and accurate invoices & statement of accounts
Budget monitoring and implementation including preparation of the budget
Ensure adherence to Ethiopia financial and tax compliances including filing of tax returns
Management and control of cash-flows and working capital
Accurate and timely of financial management reports
Stakeholder management that includes internal staff, client finance and procurement
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree / MBA in Finance, Accounting or Economics
Minimum Experience
: 2-3 years Financial Management experience in retail/FMCG
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Communication skills (verbal & written)
Interpersonal skills
Solid understanding of accounting principles
Knowledge of local statutory legislation and regulations
Must include knowledge of Excel and proficiency in an accounting program or system
Time management
Organization skills
