The Ethiopian Capital Market Authority (ECMA) is an autonomous Federal Regulatory Authority established under Capital Market Proclamation No. 1248/2021. ECMA works to ensure an orderly, fair, and efficient capital market environment in which securities can be issued and traded. ECMA regulates and licenses activities including securities exchanges, derivatives exchanges, securities depository and clearing companies, capital market service providers, over-the-counter trading facilities, and other regulated activities under its jurisdiction. Job Summary The Ethiopian Capital Market Authority is hiring a Senior Strategy and Change Management Officer II to support strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, business process reengineering, digital transformation, and organizational change initiatives. The position serves as a principal technical resource for cross-cutting strategic initiatives across ECMA, connecting the Authority’s statutory mandate and Master Plan with actionable directorate-level roadmaps and operational execution. Key Areas of Responsibility The Senior Strategy and Change Management Officer II will contribute to: Strategic planning and execution of cross-cutting institutional initiatives.Monitoring and evaluation systems design and implementation.Business process reengineering and regulatory workflow improvement.Coordination of digital transformation initiatives.Deployment of Supervisory Technology (SupTech) and related digital transformation solutions.Institutional change management initiatives.Translating ECMA’s statutory mandates and Master Plan into actionable directorate roadmaps.Supporting organizational transformation across the broader capital market ecosystem.Economic policy research and related strategic initiatives. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Strategic Management, Public Policy, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Monitoring & Evaluation, or a closely related quantitative or business field from an accredited institution.Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible technical experience in one or more of the following:Strategic planningMonitoring and evaluation systems designBusiness process reengineering (BPR) executionDigital transformation coordinationEconomic policy researchExperience must have been gained within one of the following environments:Financial regulatory authorityCapital market institutionCommercial bankMultilateral agencyTier-one corporate strategy practice Location Addis Ababa, Ethiopia How to Apply Applicants should submit their CV and application letter and complete the online application form.
