Company Description Samara University is a pioneer academic institution located in the regional capital of the Afar National Regional State, Samara, Ethiopia. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Hydrogeologist located in Semera. The Hydrogeologist will be responsible for conducting field work, managing water resources, studying groundwater and hydrology, as well as analyzing geological data. Daily tasks include collecting and interpreting data, preparing reports, collaborating with other researchers and the local community, and ensuring sustainable water management practices. Qualifications Proficiency in Field Work and Water Resource Management Strong knowledge of Groundwater and Hydrology Expertise in Geology Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively Master's degree or higher in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field Experience in on-site roles and willingness to work in field conditions
