Country Head

YES is conducting an executive search on behalf of a leading global retail brokerage seeking an accomplished Country Head to establish, lead and scale its business in Ethiopia. This is a hands-on leadership mandate for a commercially driven builder who can turn a significant market opportunity into a sustainable, revenue-generating business. The Country Head will take end-to-end ownership of the Ethiopian market, including business development, partner acquisition, revenue growth, profitability and the development of the local team. The package combines a competitive base with substantial, uncapped performance-based earnings tied to country results. The successful candidate will be expected to: Own the country’s commercial strategy, P&L and growth targets Drive client acquisition, revenue and market penetration Build, activate and manage a strong network of Introducing Brokers and affiliates Establish the local business-development operation from the ground up Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing local team as the business grows Build strategic relationships with partners and relevant industry stakeholders Monitor performance closely and remain accountable for measurable commercial results Represent the organization professionally within the Ethiopian market Requirements Currently based in Ethiopia and legally eligible to work locally Proven, numbers-backed experience in FX/CFD brokerage business development or sales leadership Demonstrable results against client-acquisition, trading-volume, revenue or profitability targets A strong, active network of Introducing Brokers and affiliates in Ethiopia Previous experience building and leading a business-development or sales team A personal track record of originating and closing business—not solely managing others Deep understanding of the Ethiopian market, business culture and regulatory environment Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to operate within an international organization Preferred qualifications Experience establishing a country operation from the ground up Existing relationships with business-development, conversion or retention talent An IB or affiliate network extending into the wider region How to Apply Submit your application using the application link.
