Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: International Manufacturing Reports To: Country/Regional Leadership About The Role Our client, an international manufacturing company , is looking for an experienced Country Finance Manager to provide strategic leadership across Finance, IT, and Supply Chain . The role will lead financial strategy, reporting, controls, compliance, and business performance while providing oversight and strategic support across procurement, inventory, logistics, and related systems. The position will work closely with senior management and the Board to provide financial insights that support sound business and investment decisions. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of the company's financial strategy, budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and provide actionable insights to senior management. Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury, and financial performance. Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, tax requirements, statutory regulations, and internal financial policies. Lead audit processes and coordinate with external auditors, tax advisers, banks, and relevant regulatory bodies. Develop and strengthen financial controls, policies, processes, and risk management frameworks. Oversee and continuously improve ERP and finance-related systems and processes. Support business decisions through financial analysis, modelling, scenario analysis, and investment/project evaluations. Prepare financial analysis and management information to support strategic and operational decision-making. Prepare and present Board-level financial reports, management reports, and business performance insights. Provide strategic oversight of Procurement, Inventory, and Logistics/Supply Chain from a financial and control perspective. Work with operational leaders to improve cost management, efficiency, profitability, and working capital utilization. Support the integration and effective use of ERP, WMS, BI, and other business systems. Lead, coach, and develop the finance team while building a high-performance culture. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, cost optimization, and stronger financial governance. Perform other related duties assigned by management. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification is required/preferred. 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant experience in a managerial or senior leadership position. Strong experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred. Demonstrated experience in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, controls, audit, tax, and working capital management. Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and applicable financial and regulatory requirements. Experience working with ERP, WMS, BI, and financial reporting systems. Strong financial modelling and business/investment analysis capabilities.
