Procurement Manager
to lead our procurement operations and support the successful delivery of our projects.
Position Summary
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that ensure the timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven acquisition of materials, equipment, and services. The role requires strong leadership, supplier management, contract negotiation, and procurement planning expertise within the construction and real estate sector.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and project schedules.
Prepare annual and project-specific procurement plans and budgets.
Forecast material requirements and manage supply chain risks.
Establish and enforce procurement policies, procedures, and SOPs.
Supplier & Vendor Management
Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and subcontractors.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms.
Maintain an Approved Vendor List (AVL).
Conduct supplier performance evaluations and manage supplier relationships.
Tendering & Contract Management
Lead RFQ, RFP, tendering, and bid evaluation processes.
Prepare technical and commercial comparison reports.
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage procurement contracts.
Ensure contract compliance and proper documentation.
Purchase Order & Cost Control
Oversee preparation and approval of purchase orders.
Monitor procurement expenditures against budgets.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure value for money.
Track deliveries and resolve procurement-related issues.
Logistics & Project Coordination
Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, stores, and project teams.
Monitor shipment schedules and material availability.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
Resolve quality and quantity discrepancies.
Reporting & Compliance
Prepare weekly and monthly procurement reports.
Maintain accurate procurement records and audit-ready documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
Support management reviews and project reporting requirements.
QualificationsRequired
Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
7–10 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in real estate, construction, or property development.
Experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and procurement planning.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/Procurement Systems.
Key Competencies
