Role Description
This is a contract, on-site Sales and Marketing Representative role based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Sales and Marketing Representative will identify and qualify leads, conduct product presentations, and build strong relationships with potential and existing clients. This role will support marketing campaigns by promoting SABA Africa’s solutions through in-person meetings, events, and targeted outreach. Daily activities include managing a sales pipeline, preparing proposals, gathering customer feedback, and collaborating with internal teams to refine messaging and offerings. The representative will also assist in training clients on products or services, ensuring a positive customer experience and consistent brand representation in the local market.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with clients and internal teams.
Proven Sales and Sales & Marketing skills, with experience in lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals.
Customer Service and client relationship management skills to support retention, satisfaction, and long-term partnerships.
Ability to deliver Training to clients or partners on products, services, or processes.
Experience in technology, digital platforms, or related industries is an advantage.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of the Addis Ababa market and broader African business context is beneficial.
Relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
This is mainly a commission based role
