is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EU funded project called:
Higher Education System Strengthening Project II – Somalia
and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.
The
overall objective
of this assignment is to strengthen the capacity of the higher education system for enhanced coordination, regulation and sustainability of interventions in Somalia.
Location
: Mogadishu, Somalia.
Duration
: The intended start date is
1st October 2026
and the period of implementation of the contract will be
36 months
from this date.
Non-Key Expert: Curriculum & Pedagogy Expert (junior)
☝️ Minimum Qualifications and skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education, curriculum and instruction, or pedagogy.
Knowledge of curriculum design, competence‑based approaches and learner‑centred pedagogy.
☝️Specific professional experience:
3–5 years’ experience designing or reviewing curricula in higher‑education or teacher‑training contexts.
Experience aligning curricula with labour‑market needs and integrating cross‑cutting themes.
Experience training lecturers in innovative teaching methods and inclusive pedagogy.
Familiarity with adult‑learning principles and remote/blended‑learning modalities.
