Job Summary The Senior Internal Auditor & Inspection Officer is responsible for conducting risk-based internal audits and financial and operational inspections. The position evaluates internal control systems, assesses compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and provides independent assurance and recommendations to strengthen the Bank's governance, risk management, and control processes. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement risk-based internal audit and inspection plans. Conduct financial, operational, compliance, and performance audits. Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems and risk management processes. Examine the Bank's financial records, transactions, operational activities, and regulatory compliance. Identify control weaknesses, irregularities, fraud risks, and operational inefficiencies. Prepare audit and inspection reports, including findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions. Provide professional advice to management on internal controls, governance, and risk mitigation. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, directives, internal policies, and professional auditing standards.
