The Position
As UX/UI Designer, you'll play a key role in shaping the user experience of Expanse from the ground up. Leveraging your design expertise and user empathy, you'll design interfaces that are not only visually stunning and intuitive, but effortless to use.
What You'll Do
Own UX/UI design for major product features, from conception to launch
Partner with the Lead Designer to expand and refine our design system in Figma
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to find elegant but practical design solutions
Bring designs to life with interactive prototypes and detailed specifications
Conduct user research and analyze data to inform and validate design decisions
Advocate for UX/UI best practices and contribute to our design culture
Our Ideal Candidate
4 years designing beautiful, user-centric interfaces for software/applications
Genuine interest in AI, LLMs and prompt engineering
Mastery of Figma and modern UI design principles and UX patterns
Solid understanding of usability heuristics, interaction design and information architecture
Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JS and ability to design for technical constraints
Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate your design vision
Creative and driven mindset that can balance the creative process while meeting deadlines
Portfolio showcasing your process and impact across multiple projects
Degree in Design, HCI, related field or equivalent experience
