Summary of the Position
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment and selection process to attract, assess, and hire qualified candidates in a timely and cost-effective manner. The role supports workforce planning by sourcing talent, coordinating recruitment activities, maintaining candidate pipelines, and ensuring a positive candidate experience while aligning hiring outcomes with organizational needs.
Recruitment Planning and Coordination
Receive and review manpower requisitions from departments.
Coordinate with hiring managers to understand job requirements, qualifications, and timelines.
Prepare recruitment plans and sourcing strategies for approved vacancies.
Ensure recruitment activities are aligned with company policies and workforce plans.
Sourcing and Attraction
Draft and post vacancy announcements on appropriate recruitment channels.
Source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, databases, and networking.
Build and maintain a talent pipeline for recurring and critical positions.
Identify effective sourcing channels to attract quality candidates.
Screening and Shortlisting
Review applications and screen CVs against job requirements.
Conduct initial candidate screening interviews and assessments.
Prepare and submit shortlisted candidates to hiring managers.
Maintain fair, objective, and competency-based screening practices.
Interview and Selection Process Management
Schedule written exams, interviews, and assessment sessions.
Coordinate interview panels and ensure timely communication with candidates and hiring managers.
Support interview evaluations and compile candidate assessment results.
Conduct reference checks and other pre-employment verification activities where required.
Job Offer and Hiring Process
Prepare job offer documents for selected candidates in coordination with HR and line managers.
Follow up with selected candidates to ensure offer acceptance and joining readiness.
Coordinate with relevant departments for onboarding preparation.
Maintain recruitment documentation for all hiring activities.
Recruitment Reporting and Database Management
Maintain accurate recruitment records, trackers, and candidate databases.
Prepare periodic recruitment status reports including vacancy progress, sourcing effectiveness, and time-to-fill analysis.
Monitor recruitment KPIs and identify areas for process improvement.
Keep records of applicants, shortlisted candidates, interviewed candidates, offers made, and hires completed.
Employer Branding and Candidate Experience
Ensure professional and timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Promote the organization as an employer of choice through positive candidate engagement.
Support initiatives that strengthen employer branding and recruitment visibility in the market.
Compliance and Process Improvement
Ensure recruitment processes comply with company policy, labor law, and equal employment principles.
Support the continuous improvement of recruitment tools, templates, and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of candidate and recruitment information.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years and above of relevant experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR operations.
