The Operations Officer is responsible for ensuring the financial, administrative, and operational efficiency of the organization. The role exists to maintain accurate financial records, ensure regulatory and tax compliance, support payroll and office administration, and provide reliable reporting that enables effective business decision-making. The Operations Officer plays a critical role in safeguarding financial accuracy, compliance, and operational continuity.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Controls:
• Manage billing, invoicing, collections, and payment processing.
• Ensure timely settlement of supplier and statutory payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Support budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reconciliations.
Tax & Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit tax filings, declarations, and supporting schedules on time.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulators when required.
Payroll Administration:
• Administer payroll processing, including salaries, benefits, and statutory deductions.
• Ensure payroll accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with labor regulations.
• Maintain employee payroll records and resolve payroll-related queries.
Office & Administrative Management:
• Oversee day-to-day office administration and support services.
• Manage office supplies, contracts, records, and asset registers.
• Support internal processes, documentation, and administrative controls.

About You
Required Knowledge & Experience
3 Years’ experience in finance, accounting, or operations roles.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles, payroll administration, and tax compliance.
Familiarity with financial controls, documentation, and reporting requirements.
Experience working with auditors, tax authorities, or regulatory bodies is an advantage.
Proficiency in accounting or office management systems
Comfortable working with MS Office applications
BA Degree in Accounting, Business Management, and related fields
